before/after
I exclusively work with Raw images for commercial projects, as it is widely acknowledged that professional photographers prefer capturing shots in Raw format.
However, for the "LIGER" movie behind-the-scenes, an assistant documented the scenes using medium-resolution JPEG images.
Despite the constrained dynamic range inherent in the JPEG format, the process of color grading turned out to be enjoyable. The resulting images were incorporated into a promotional campaign, with a focus on highlighting their behind-the-scenes nature rather than serving as campaign-specific visuals.
